Situated atop a hill with sweeping views, this Barton Hills residence takes advantage of its site by maximizing outdoor connection while also providing ample amenities and room to grow for a young family. The design takes cues from regional archetypes but is decidedly modernist in its planning and flow.
A modernist 5,000-square-foot residence. It features a guest apartment, exercise room, pool, and ample living spaces.
This Scandinavian Modern ranch embodies the core principles of Scandinavian design with simplicity and elegance.
It seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings, offering sweeping views of the owner’s property from every angle. It’s a home where form meets function, offering both comfort and aesthetic appeal meeting our client's goal: “Prioritize functionality without eliminating grace and beauty.”
The secluded site in Westlake Hills offered expansive views of the Hill Country. The design functionally combines a robust program with elegant transitions between public and private spaces suitable for both this large family.
This extensive remodel project lies in the heart of Northwest Hills. The clients desired significant additional space and to improve and update the flow and overall design of the existing residence.
The design responded by reorganizing the living spaces around an existing central patio. The patio is now surrounded by almost continuous walls of glass that open and improve views and connection to the existing swimming pool beyond. The design further responds with a second-floor addition accessed by a floating stair visible from the new central patio.
